Do I need to be a registered business?
No. Freelancers and side hustles use it exactly the same way a registered company would.
Does it handle VAT?
Yes. Add VAT per line when you need it. If you're not registered, leave it off and the invoice stays clean — no VAT number, no VAT line.
Can my client pay by EFT?
Your banking details are on every invoice as copyable text, so they can pay by EFT in seconds — no back-and-forth asking for your account number.
Is my data private?
Your invoices and clients are locked to your account in the database itself, with POPIA in mind. Nobody else can read them, not even through the app.
